Hello! As you can see in the page "Foundations", my studies and interests are based upon many authors, theorists, scholars and schools (conventional or not). Anyway my main background is constituted by the British Cultural Studies (from Stuart Hall to the latest tendencies in Audience, Identity and Cultural Studies), the French Semiotics and Socio-Semiotics, the Personalism (Mounier) and Anthony Giddens' approach to social analysis. My studies in the field of media and communication are based upon an holistic view of modern societies, analysed through the interpretative tools coming from the Theory of Structuration.
